Salmon at the Alevin Stage

At this time next week, if everything goes as planned, our young salmon will be navigating the waters of the Willamette River near the mouth of Johnson Creek. This is what they looked like this afternoon. You can see that they are starting to lose their yolk sacs and are just about ready to take on looking for their own food.
